MSPs and resellers are now looking for a single wholesale partner that can provide communications, connectivity, security, and operational tooling - without having to stitch together multiple suppliers.
Reinvent Telecom’s new MyCloud Managed Security fits here perfectly. The partner-focused cybersecurity service is designed to help MSPs, VARs, and resellers deliver managed protection without building or managing their own security infrastructure. The service combines Guided Vulnerability Management and Managed XDR, or MXDR, with 24/7 monitoring from a dedicated security operations center.
Reinvent moves into managed security
Reinvent Telecom has traditionally worked with partners through private-label and co-branded communications services. Its portfolio includes UCaaS, CCaaS, business messaging, Microsoft Teams direct routing, SIP trunking, and virtual fax. MyCloud Managed Security adds a cybersecurity layer to that partner model.
Gabriel Marcos, head of product at Reinvent Telecom, told ChannelE2E that the company wants to stand out through service delivery and flexibility, not just by offering a bundle of security tools.
“We built the Reinvent MyCloud Managed Security offering not by simply bundling MXDR, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, and compliance reporting, but by also positioning Reinvent as a high-touch operational security partner with flexible integration capabilities and deeper response services,” Marcos said.
MyCloud Managed Security includes 24/7 monitoring, threat detection and response, asset discovery and inventory, endpoint detection and response, compliance monitoring and reporting, SIEM, SOAR, dark web monitoring, and guided vulnerability management.
Reinvent said the service can help partners find threats earlier, prioritize vulnerabilities, protect remote and hybrid workers, discover unmanaged assets, and reduce shadow IT risk. It also supports compliance needs tied to frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
Marcos said the model is built around human-led security operations and co-managed workflows.
“Our model focuses on 24/7 human-led SOC operations, co-managed security workflows, BYOL support for existing security tools,” Marcos said. “We also offer tailored playbooks that integrate into a customer’s environment rather than forcing everyone into a rigid stack.”
That flexibility could matter for partners supporting customers who already have some security tools in place. Many midmarket companies use endpoint tools, cloud controls, identity systems, or logging platforms. What they often lack is the staff and process to manage those tools well. A bring-your-own-license model can help partners build managed services around existing customer investments instead of forcing a full replacement.
More than alert monitoring
Reinvent is also positioning MyCloud Managed Security as more than alert monitoring. Customers do not need more alerts. They need help understanding which risks are urgent, which systems are exposed and what to do next.
Marcos said the service includes proactive threat hunting, dark web intelligence, digital forensics and incident response, cloud and hybrid infrastructure visibility, automated analyst-guided remediation workflows, and vulnerability management.
He said compliance is treated as an ongoing process, not a one-time report.
“Reinvent MyCloud Managed Security treats compliance like a continuous operational process tied to security posture management and audit readiness rather than static reporting,” Marcos said. “This is especially valuable for midmarket organizations seeking enterprise-grade security operations without building a full in-house SOC.”
A new conversation for UCaaS and connectivity partners
For partners focused on communications, connectivity, or UCaaS, managed security creates a different sales conversation. Marcos said Reinvent is trying to help partners make that shift without expecting them to become cybersecurity experts overnight.
“It starts with understanding that MyCloud Managed Security solves customer problems, which, in turn, makes it a very compelling solution for partners,” Marcos said. “This allows partners to have conversations with customers about business risk reduction, compliance, operational resilience, and 24/7 protection as natural extensions of the services customers already depend on.”
Communications partners already manage phones, collaboration platforms, contact centers, SIP services or Microsoft Teams environments for customers. Security can become a natural next step as customers support remote users, cloud applications, and distributed networks.
“Rather than expecting partners to become deep cybersecurity experts overnight, we provide a co-managed, white-label-friendly model that allows reseller partners to position managed security as an integrated layer around existing cloud and communications environments,” Marcos said. “We handle the SOC operations, threat detection, incident response, SIEM/SOAR management, and compliance workflows behind the scenes.”
That support model is important. Selling managed security without the right operational backing can create problems if a customer has an incident and the partner is not ready to respond. Reinvent is giving partners a way to expand into security while relying on a dedicated SOC and response team.
Competing in a crowded market
The white-label managed security market is crowded. MSPs and resellers already have many options for MXDR, vulnerability management, compliance reporting, and managed security services.
Marcos said Reinvent is focused on flexibility, partner enablement, and service delivery.
“Our approach really matters to MSPs and resellers who are evaluating multiple white-label security providers because we focus less on commoditized tool bundles and more on operational flexibility, partner enablement, and high-touch service delivery,” Marcos said.
That will come down to execution. Partners will want to know how escalations work, how incidents are handled, how reporting is branded, what responsibilities stay with the partner, and how Reinvent supports sales and technical conversations.
“Instead of focusing on a particular technology or specific features, we created a solution that solves real-life problems for customers and integrates seamlessly with the solutions that our partners are already providing,” Marcos said.
Security as an ongoing service
Customers are dealing with ransomware, credential theft, phishing, endpoint compromise, cloud misconfigurations, and compliance pressure. Many do not have the internal staff to manage those risks alone. Reinvent’s MyCloud Managed Security gives partners a way to meet that demand through a managed, SOC-backed model. It also gives Reinvent a broader role as communications, cloud, and security services continue to come together.
Marcos said Reinvent wants partners to position security as an ongoing service, not a one-time product sale.
“Our capabilities allow us to go beyond the traditional detection scope to offering remediation, cloud, and hybrid visibility and continuous compliance support, helping reseller partners position security as an ongoing operational service supporting business resilience instead of simply another packaged cybersecurity SKU,” he said.
