Fortanix and NVIDIA Partner to Deliver Trusted Agentic AI for Regulated Industries

Digital transformation and the metaverse are exemplified by the image of a hand touching a modern interface with a futuristic blue gear and binary code background

Fortanix is partnering with NVIDIA to bring secure, enterprise-ready agentic AI to regulated industries. The new on-premises platform lets organizations run AI workloads on sensitive data while maintaining full compliance and verifiable trust.

For industries like healthcare, finance, and government, the challenge has always been the same: how to use AI without losing control of sensitive data. Information such as patient records, financial transactions, or classified files can’t simply be moved to the cloud without creating serious compliance and security risks. Traditionally, enterprises have had to choose between innovation and oversight. Fortanix’s new solution, powered by NVIDIA Confidential Computing, removes that compromise by securing the full AI lifecycle - from data ingestion to inference - inside trusted, attested environments.

Anand Kashyap, CEO and Founder of Fortanix told ChannelE2E, “For regulated industries that demand the highest levels of security and auditable proof, deploying agentic AI projects across on-premises, air-gapped, and sovereign environments has always been challenging. The joint Fortanix and NVIDIA solution delivers a trusted foundation for protecting sensitive data and workloads - ensuring trust, security, sovereignty, and compliance at every step.”

The platform includes Fortanix Armet AI, built on NVIDIA Hopper and Blackwell GPUs. It uses Fortanix Confidential Computing Manager and NVIDIA NRAS to verify both CPUs and GPUs, creating a single chain of trust. Fortanix Data Security Manager then releases encryption keys only after that verification is complete. This setup lets organizations move quickly from AI pilots to production while keeping data, models, and systems fully protected.

Built on NVIDIA Hopper and Blackwell GPUs

The joint platform is built for industries where compliance and confidentiality are non-negotiable. Fortanix provides the attestation, orchestration, and key management layers, while NVIDIA brings the hardware-level protection and performance foundation.

“The Fortanix–NVIDIA solution is unique because it’s built entirely on confidential computing principles,” said the spokesperson. “Composite attestation across the CPU and GPU provides an end-to-end chain of trust. Secure key release, policy enforcement, and built-in AI guardrails ensure every operation remains verified and compliant.”

This jointly developed and validated reference architecture combines Fortanix’s confidential AI platform with NVIDIA’s Confidential Computing infrastructure. The result is an environment where sensitive data and models remain fully protected while maintaining the speed and scalability enterprises need.

End-to-End Trust and Compliance by Design

Key capabilities include end-to-end attestation, hardware-backed key custody, and FIPS-certified cryptographic controls. Fortanix Data Security Manager releases keys only after workloads are verified, establishing a provable chain of trust across the AI lifecycle.

The platform’s compliance automation, role-based access controls, and consistent audit logging make it easier for enterprises to meet regulatory requirements while reducing operational complexity. With these layers of protection, enterprises can demonstrate compliance confidently while maintaining sovereignty over their data.

“Partners can deploy turnkey AI Factories on-premises and in air-gapped environments - built on NVIDIA Confidential GPUs and Fortanix Armet AI,” said the spokesperson. “This eliminates integration complexity with ready-to-use orchestration, guardrails, and governance. Partners can accelerate customer adoption - from AI pilots to production - without adding compliance risk.”

Enabling Partners to Deliver Sovereign AI

Beyond enterprise adoption, the Fortanix–NVIDIA partnership opens new opportunities for partners and system integrators to deliver trusted, sovereign AI environments. With ready-to-deploy infrastructure and built-in governance, partners can create Confidential AI-as-a-Service or Managed Sovereign AI offerings for customers who can’t move sensitive data to the public cloud.

“Partners can bring their own AI or analytics applications onto Fortanix Armet AI, operating inside a fully confidential environment,” the spokesperson added. “They can deploy on-premises or air-gapped AI Factories, keeping data and models under customer control. Built-in compliance automation and audit logging make regulatory approvals faster and easier.”

This approach gives partners a scalable model for building and managing sovereign AI environments that meet strict national, financial, and sectoral compliance mandates. It also helps enterprises modernize securely - running agentic AI on their own infrastructure, on their own terms.

Built-in guardrails, observability, and orchestration through Fortanix Armet AI help teams move from pilot to production faster - without losing control or oversight. Together, Fortanix and NVIDIA have created a verifiable trust pipeline for AI, backed by Confidential Computing at every layer.

The result is a secure foundation for organizations - and their partners - to deploy agentic AI in sensitive environments, proving what’s running, protecting what matters, and enabling innovation with confidence.
