D&H Hosts 2023 THREAD Technology Conference

D&H Distributing will host its first U.S. THREAD Technology Conference of 2023 on June 14 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania, the company announced. The conference will provide market intelligence on topics such as cloud adoption, digital transformation in SMB, thriving in challenging environments, and the future of work. Sessions will be delivered by subject matter experts from vendors including AMD, Cisco, HP, Intel, and Microsoft, D&H said.

This marks the company's first live THREAD event of 2023 and a return to live, in-person events for the company.

The show will feature more than 80 manufacturer partners, including AMD, Brother, Cisco, Dell, Eaton, HPI, HPE, Intel, Lenovo, Logitech, Microsoft, and more, D&H said. Attendees can also visit the D&H 105th Anniversary Experience Bar to learn how to maximize the THREAD conference and to help celebrate this milestone. One hundred and five partners will earn a chance to win an American Express gift card, D&H said.

There will be 10 Mainstage offerings consisting of seminars, panel discussions, and keynote speakers. This includes a session from David Allen, Director of Distribution Sales & Marketing and Broad Channel Sales at Intel Corporation. Customer experience guru Jay Baer’s keynote, “The Time to Win,” will address challenges and opportunity for MSPs and VARs in the current marketplace. Additional presentations will be delivered in two different educational “Learning Paths” comprised of a Technical Modern Solutions track and a Business Building track, giving D&H partners the ability to customize their training experiences through a combination of strategy, business, product, and trend-related information. D&H Co-Presidents Michael Schwab and Dan Schwab will present closing remarks after the keynote before the exhibits open, the company said.

Registration, breakfast and kick-offs for the THREAD “Learning Path” educational sessions begin at 7:30 a.m. A welcome address from D&H’s Chief Commercial Officer Marty Bauerlein will take place at 10:00 a.m., followed by a presentation from Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales Peter DiMarco and the initial “Mainstage” presentations.
