Salesforce and Anthropic are taking their partnership a step further, making Claude available within Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 platform for industries that have the toughest data and compliance requirements. Financial services, healthcare, and cybersecurity organizations can now use Claude’s reasoning and automation capabilities inside Salesforce’s secure boundary, keeping sensitive workloads contained. Companies like CrowdStrike and RBC Wealth Management are already using the setup to speed up client-facing work while staying within policy. The partnership goes beyond technical integration. Salesforce and Anthropic are building industry-specific AI solutions together, starting with financial services. In practice, that means an advisor can ask Claude to summarize a client’s portfolio, flag new regulations, or automate consent tracking, all within Agentforce. The agent works securely with CRM data and industry frameworks, cutting out a lot of repetitive, manual tasks that normally slow things down. They’re also deepening the connection between Claude and Slack. Through the new Model Context Protocol, Claude can now access Slack channels and files to summarize conversations, extract decisions, and act on CRM data, all from inside the app. The idea is to make it easier for people to move from discussion to decision without hopping between tools.Salesforce is also using Anthropic’s Claude Code internally to help engineers document and ship projects faster. Anthropic, in turn, runs much of its own operations on Salesforce and Slack, using Claude in the same ways it’s now being offered to customers. The expansion makes one thing clear: both companies want to make secure, practical AI usable inside the systems people already trust.
