Earlier this year, ChannelE2E spotted a professional services automation (PSA) software platform built entirely for Google's G Suite. It's called Vogsy.
Although the company has been around for a couple years, Vogsy's platform is still fairly new. It seems to fill a void that Google has not covered in its own productivity suite yet. The application currently helps midsized professional services organizations (PSOs) manage the Quote-to-Cash process across sales, account management, resourcing, financing and more.
Without an official project management application from Google, Vogsy looks like a potential solution for companies currently using G Suite as their primary productivity SaaS application.
Vogsy Partner Program
Vogsy has now launched a Global Partner Program for Google Cloud and G Suite, which may allow MSPs to benefit from deploying the application to their clients. Like many partner programs, the new Vogsy effort can incentivize MSPs to recommend the PSA platform and create additional revenue for the MSP.
Since Vogsy Professional Services Automation solution is built on the Google Cloud platform, clients already entrenched in the Google ecosystem should be familiar with the underlying technology, which means less training and ramp-up time for new Vogsy partners.
The partner program includes discounts and rewards, marketing materials and support, sales and product training, as well as early access to product enhancements. Partners can even receive a discount on their own Vogsy subscriptions through the program. Offering partner consumption discount could be a great way to help employees understand the program so they can better assistance clients who also adopt Vogsy.
Mark van Leeuwen, CEO of Vogsy, said in a prepared statement:
"We have purposely designed our partner program to be simple and flexible to make it easy for partners to join our program, get up and running quickly and experience immediate financial benefits. This new program offers our partners an opportunity to deepen their client relationships on their quest to becoming a true one-stop-shop from infrastructure to core business applications."
Vogsy: Signs of Progress
When we first covered the application earlier this year, there was very little data on the platform. The website has much improved since then, and now offers case studies on the platform's use, infographics on how it can benefit customers, webinars and more.
While Office 365 still dominates the productivity space for many businesses, thousands of companies have instead opted for G Suite. So far, Vogsy appears to be the only PSA provider making a major effort to engage partners and customers in that ecosystem.
