SoftwareONE Acquires SAP Consulting Partner BNW

SoftwareOne continues to grow through acquisition, this time buying Melbourne, Australia’s BNW Consulting for an undisclosed amount.

BNW, founded in 1996, specializes SAP consulting services, assisting customer application migrations to Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform. BNW’s 30-plus employees will join SoftwareOne.

BNW currently supports organizations in Australia, APAC, Europe and the United States, and will be available globally with the SoftwareONE global portfolio and footprint, the company said.

Warwick Chai, founder and managing director of BNW, and Stefan Baumann, co-owner and COO, will transition to leadership roles at SoftwareOne, the company announced.

SoftwareOne is headquartered in Stans, Switzerland and has more than 5,500 employees, operations in 88 countries, and an ability to support customers across 150 countries. The company provides end-to-end software and cloud technology solutions

SoftwareOne IPO, Acquisitions

SoftwareOne recently launched an IPO and also has financial backing from KKR, the private equity firm. The company has extensive acquisition experience. Earlier purchases include:

  • UC Point, a global unified communications and collaboration services provider in Switzerland.
  • ISI Expert, a managed services and infrastructure provider in France.
  • Comparex, a global software, cloud and IT solutions provider in Germany with 2,500 employees in 36 countries across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
  • RightCloud, a managed infrastructure provider based in Singapore.
  • SAMSentry, a UK-based specialist in software governance technology.
  • A significant stake in InterGrupo, a Latin America cloud technology consulting and application modernization provider.
