Proofpoint has launched its next-generation Digital Communications Governance (DCG) solution with an emphasis on AI-driven archiving, supervision, and content capture. Designed to help businesses manage the regulatory complexity of modern communication platforms, the offering enables service providers and IT partners to deliver scalable governance solutions to clients operating in finance, healthcare, and other tightly regulated sectors.

Built-in Compliance for Global Regulatory Frameworks

As compliance expectations grow under FINRA, FCA, HIPAA, GDPR, and other frameworks, Proofpoint’s platform now supports real-time search and supervision through machine learning and large language model (LLM)-based capabilities. These features help organizations prepare for audits and litigation by ensuring communications data is complete, searchable, and reviewable across regions, including support for AWS deployments in multiple global zones.

Streamlined Supervision and Archiving at Scale

The updated DCG platform includes enhanced archiving tools with fast, complex search capabilities, litigation hold, and built-in compliance attestations. On the supervision front, machine learning models and LLM-powered features aim to reduce false positives and ease reviewer workloads. These improvements are especially useful for financial services firms that must monitor thousands of daily interactions for policy violations or compliance gaps.

Proactive Risk Mitigation and Audit Readiness

Proofpoint also introduced Track and Patrol—capabilities that enable continuous content reconciliation and compliance gap detection. These tools are designed to surface issues before audits, reduce risk exposure, and improve control across diverse digital channels. By eliminating the need for separate licenses or third-party integrations, the DCG platform now offers a more efficient, integrated approach to communications governance.

Now available on AWS with regional rollouts underway, the platform supports global deployments and offers free migration through 2026. MSPs can adopt a co-managed compliance model by integrating their own services—like policy oversight and alert triage—on top of Proofpoint’s framework. Enhanced audit tools and multi-language supervision further equip partners to meet rising regulatory expectations and deliver differentiated governance offerings.
