Cloud networking and security vendor Infoblox is boosting its Skilled to Secure Trusted Partner Program by adding new partner paths for global system integrators (GSIs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs).The partner program expansion was announced by Chris Millerick, vice president of worldwide partner sales and alliances, in a recent post on the Infoblox blog.“Skilled to Secure is built on a simple promise: when partners invest in skills that drive outcomes, including sales, technical pre-sales, and professional services, we invest in them with benefits, enablement, and a path to higher status and growth,” wrote Millerick. “It is how we build long-term partnerships grounded in trust and customer impact—profitably, predictably, and collaboratively.”The separate new GSI and invite-only MSSP designations in Infoblox’s service provider track are each aligned to how partners go to market, how they deliver services, and how they scale, he wrote.“This structure brings clarity to requirements, accelerates enablement, and connects partners with the right benefits at the right time—from not-for-resale demo access and lab discounts to proposal-based marketing development funds and advantaged deal registration,” Millerick wrote.“This is about outcomes,” he continued. “When partners are Skilled to Secure, customers get resilient core networking services and earlier threat disruption, with the confidence that trained, enabled teams are behind every deployment.”George Hope, vice president of partner sales at Infoblox, told ChannelE2E that the new tracks will give GSIs access to regional tiering, named-practice leadership, and other benefits. MSSPs will gain access to a security-focused path that aligns with Infoblox Threat Defense, SOC leadership expectations, and co-selling opportunities, he said.“These changes will simplify complexity, accelerate partner enablement, and provide a structured approach to achieving predictable and profitable growth,” said Hope. “By introducing tailored support, Infoblox aims to better align with the unique needs of GSIs and MSSPs, ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed in their respective markets. Partners will deliver resilient core networking services and earlier threat disruption, with the confidence that trained, enabled teams are behind every deployment.”The expanded service provider tracks are intended to help partners grow their businesses and revenue while also expanding the services they deliver to customers, Hope said.
