Managed service provider EACS has acquired Sentronex, a Microsoft and Cisco Systems partner in London. Sentronex's expertise includes disaster recovery, IT managed and professional services. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The deal consolidates and builds upon EACS's position in the financial services sector, where the company works with a lengthy list of cloud and infrastructure, security and application partners. The company also claims the deal will help it reach £30m (US$39.2 million) in revenues in 2018.

"Sentronex has built a well-deserved reputation for great service within the financial services sector over many years,” said Kevin Timms, CEO of EACS. “This acquisition enables us to add a fantastic set of clients to our business from a base in London of high-quality technical resources.”

Sentronex’s disaster recovery services bring a significantly important new dimension to EACS’ managed service portfolio, while Sentronex customers will gain access to EACS’ end-to-end cloud and business consultancy portfolio, Timms added.

“This acquisition satisfies one of EACS’ stated business focusses for growth and will provide benefit for its clients, employees and partner network to provide enhanced and connected solutions to customers,” he said.

Sentronex CEO Mark Parnell-Hopkinson will exit the business under terms of the deal.
