Alphaserve, Cornerstone Partner to Serve Legal Firms

Share

Global managed IT provider Alphaserve Technologies is partnering with Cornerstone Information Technologies (Cornerstone.IT) to target the legal IT market.

According to a prepared statement, clients of the two companies will “gain access to the full breadth of services of each company to better streamline their IT management.” Alphaserve brings cloud and cybersecurity services to the table, while Cornerstone provides its IT business solution and MSP wherewithal.

This announcement comes at a time when Alphaserve has turned its focus toward the vertical IT legal market. In recent months Alphaserve has expanded its services within the field after re-engineering its proprietary IT platform to better serve smaller and midsize firms. The company also introduced its artificial intelligence (AI) consulting service, which allows firms to leverage Alphaserve’s intellectual property, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library-based processes, a proprietary tool and more than 200 experts around the globe.

Meanwhile, Cornerstone.IT is a full service IT business solution and MSP, and since its founding in 2003, it has focused largely on the legal industry. The company is a Citrix partner and specializes in desktop virtualization to alleviate the pressure of poor performing systems. Cornerstone.IT also provides support for Microsoft cloud platforms and iManage.

In additional to the legal vertical, Cornerstone.IT works within the accounting, finance, media, and retail industries. It has offices in New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.

Alphaserve is a privately held firm operating in 38 countries. The company began operations more than 15 years ago and serves clients from multinational firms to small boutique agencies.

These aren’t the only companies in the legal vertical game at the moment. Avalon Document Services and Digits merged last year to focus on the market. Moreover, a growing number of companies are largely focused on eDiscovery platforms, which help attorneys deal with their often overwhelming caseloads.
