TD SYNNEX, a global IT distributor and solutions aggregator, recently expanded its Enablement Journey for Copilot for Microsoft 365 to include cloud solution providers.

The company, which is headquartered in Clearwater, Florida and Fremont, California, first announced the launch of the AI-powered workplace productivity program in December 2023.

This development coincides with the company's announcement of reaching over 2,000 partners in the program, reflecting what the company says is growing industry interest in generative AI technologies.

Copilot for Microsoft 365: A Tool for Enhanced Productivity

Copilot for Microsoft 365, designed to enhance productivity in widely used Microsoft applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, now extends its reach to cloud solution providers.

The tool includes enterprise-grade features for security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI, aiming to unlock user productivity and unleash creativity, the company said.

The expansion of Copilot for Microsoft 365 is part of an ongoing collaboration between TD SYNNEX and Microsoft.

David Smith, vice president, worldwide channel sales, Microsoft, commented:

“We are thrilled to be expanding our availability of Copilot for Microsoft 365 to Cloud Service Providers and we commend TD SYNNEX’s dedication to empowering partners to leverage this transformational technology across a wider audience than ever before. Together, Microsoft and TD SYNNEX are helping businesses harness the power of AI, reshaping how work gets done in the digital age.”

Mark Phillips, COO of Wavenet, a UK-based Microsoft MSP and TD SYNNEX partner, said:

“Clearly the potential is extremely significant but customers need help in working out where to start and how to execute in ways that have a material commercial impact, it is our intention to invest strongly in this area. The enablement resources from TD SYNNEX support this effort, and we are already working on a number of AI related initiatives focused on preparation for Microsoft 365 Copilot.”
