CSPi Wins Managed Services, Cloud Migration Contract

Victor Dellovo

CSPi continues to push deeper into managed services and cloud migrations, winning a three-year contract with Broward College. The $2.5 million agreement, announced yesterday, will see CSPi provide IT management services for the South Florida college through its Technology Solutions division.

Broward College has the third largest enrollment among the 28 members of the Florida College System. It operates three main campuses, an online campus, as well as several satellite centers; all serving more than 63,000 students annually and employing a faculty and staff of 4,800, the college says.

This is the second major win that CSPi has confirmed in recent months. In February, CSPi announced a $6 million, three-year managed service agreement with an unnamed global IT service provider through its German subsidiary.

CSPi: Business Evolution

CSPi is an IT managed services, security services, and packet capture solutions provider. The company is trying to shake off a difficult first quarter, in which revenues declined 16% amid some challenges in Europe -- including a difficult year-over-year comparison in Germany that involved a big win the year prior.

CSPi also been spending heavily on recruiting fees for its managed services business in Germany, while also experiencing restructuring charges in both Germany and the U.K., CEO Victor Dellovo said in March.

CSPi has launched multiple solutions in the last few months, including its Myricom nVoy Series (cyber threat visibility/data capture capabilities) and Advanced Forensic Framework. Among the big focus areas: Managed security services and penetration testing.
