AASKI Technology has acquired ConnectSolutions, a cloud-centric MSP focused on Adobe Connect. The acquired assets will be rebranded as CoSo Cloud LLC, an AASKI company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

ConnectSolutions CEO Glen D. Vondrick becomes general manager of CoSo Cloud, reporting directly to AASKI CEO Bharat Parikh.

AASKI, which had roughly 375 employees ahead of the deal, offers professional services for planning, designing, implementing, securing, and managing mission-critical networks and systems. Key customers include the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Defense Information Systems Agency, Defense Health Agency, communication service providers, and equipment manufacturers.

Who Is CoSoCloud?

In contrast, CoSo Cloud positions itself as a private cloud MSP for secure virtual classroom training and web conferencing for government agencies and compliance-centric industries. The CoSo Cloud platform meets or exceeds most security and regulatory compliance requirements for SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST and FedRAMP, the company says. On the MSP front, CoSo Cloud manages 1 million user sessions
, 75 million minutes and 225,000 meetings
 per month.

In an interesting twist: CoSoCloud had been a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner around 2015, with a heavy emphasis on Microsoft Skype. But Microsoft is no longer listed on CoSoCloud's partner page. We're checking to see why.
