  1. Pax8 Beyond Debuts: Pax8’s first Beyond conference is happening in Denver this week, and the event is attracting a number of vendor sessions with keynotes from cyber security vendors including SentinelOne and CrowdStrike.
  2. D&H THREAD Returns: D&H Distributing will host its Mid-Atlantic Thread Technology Conference this week, June 14 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. The event will feature more than 80 manufacturer partners including AMD, Brother, Cisco, Dell, EAton, HPI, HPE, Intel, Lenovo, Logitech, Microsoft and many others. 
  3. Blackpoint Cyber funding: Big funding news from Blackpoint Cyber last week. The cybersecurity provider secured $190 million growth investment from Bain Capital Tech Opportunities and Accel. The investment will help Blackpoint Cyber ruther develop it’s security technology, add new products to its platform and simplify the security stack for its MSP partners. 
  4. New Blackpoint Exec: Speaking of Blackpoint Cyber, the company scored a significant hire recently, MacKenzie Brown, who previously served as Incident Manager for the Detection and Response Team at Microsoft. Brown joins BlackPoint Cyber as VP of Security. Look for more coverage of this soon.
  5. Cyberinsurance partnership: Arctic Wolf and Cysurance, a next-generation platform delivering cyber insurance as a service, will offer US-based Arctic Wolf customers that are enrolled in the Arctic Wolf Security Operations Warranty the opportunity to purchase a $1 million fixed-fee cyber insurance policy for a highly-discounted price and without the need for an application.nt positions at SQS, All Covered, and British Telecom.
