Why MSPs Need Their Own AI Marketplace – And How SuperOps Plans to Deliver

Last month, SuperOps, in collaboration with AWS rolled out a new Agentic AI Marketplace designed specifically for MSPs and IT teams. Unlike generic AI catalogs, SuperOps is positioning this marketplace as purpose-built for MSPs - combining tools, community collaboration, and real-world problem-solving. Backed by AWS infrastructure for scalability and performance, the marketplace will be supported by two major initiatives: the Agentic AI Community, where MSPs and developers can collaborate, and the global SuperHack Hackathon, offering a $100,000 prize pool to encourage innovation.

SuperOps’ real differentiator is focus. The marketplace isn’t a toolbox that still demands customization and endless pilots; it’s built with deep context of the industry, offering agents that tackle ticketing, patching, compliance, and security right out of the gate. Add in a community-driven model where developers and MSPs can co-create, share, and monetize solutions, and this becomes less about experimenting with AI and more about putting it to work. It shortens the path from idea to impact, giving MSPs practical tools they can deploy today, not months from now.

To dive deeper on what SuperOps has to offer, ChannelE2E spoke to Arvind Parthiban, Co-Founder and CEO of SuperOps, about the vision behind the Agentic AI Marketplace, how it’s designed to solve the everyday challenges MSPs face, and why he believes specialization and community-driven innovation will set it apart from broader AI platforms.

ChannelE2E: What’s the one thing SuperOps’ marketplace brings to MSPs that a giant like AWS, or any other central platform, can’t replicate?

Arvind Parthiban: Giants like AWS build for everyone. We’re laser-focused on MSPs, and that focus lets us go deeper. Our marketplace doesn’t just offer generic agents; it is built with deep context of the vertical, with agents designed to handle specialized problems unique to the IT services industry. Think ticketing, patching, compliance, and security - the everyday but mission-critical challenges MSPs face. That level of depth and specialization is something broad platforms don’t prioritize.

ChannelE2E: Everyone’s talking about AI marketplaces right now. What’s different about your approach that makes this more than just another one in the mix?

Arvind Parthiban: Most AI marketplaces are toolboxes; you still need time, expertise, and customization to make them useful. Ours is different. We’re delivering ready-to-deploy, agentic AI that works within MSP workflows from day one. And it’s not just SuperOps building, it’s community-driven. Developers, agencies, and MSPs themselves can contribute, co-create, and crowdsource agents that will shape the future of this industry. That combination of specialization and community ownership is what sets us apart. It’s a practical, immediately usable approach to AI that addresses real problems.

ChannelE2E: MSPs often get stuck in endless AI pilots. What’s the single most significant barrier you think your marketplace actually removes for them?

Arvind Parthiban: The biggest hurdle is moving from pilot to production. MSPs don’t want to spend months testing; they want results. Our marketplace helps remove that barrier by offering agents designed to integrate into their stack from the start, so value is realized faster.

ChannelE2E: Beyond the hackathon prize pool, how do developers actually make money here?

Arvind Parthiban: Today, developers get visibility and credibility by solving real problems for MSPs and getting their work featured in the marketplace. As the marketplace evolves, it opens a path to monetization, giving developers the chance to reach a highly targeted audience and grow alongside the community.

ChannelE2E: How do you see agentic AI changing the role of MSPs over the next three to five years? And what’s the risk if they don’t move quickly?

Arvind Parthiban: Agentic AI will transform MSPs from firefighting IT providers into proactive growth partners for their clients. Tasks that were once manual - troubleshooting, patching, monitoring - will be automated, freeing MSPs to deliver higher-value services. Reality check: the customers that MSPs serve are evolving fast, and if MSPs don’t evolve with them, they risk being left behind by peers who can deliver faster, smarter, and more cost-effective outcomes.

ChannelE2E: You have said that 61% of partners struggle to move AI beyond proof-of-concept. How does SuperOps plan to bridge that adoption gap more effectively than competitors?

Arvind Parthiban: Many competitors stop at providing the framework. We go further by embedding agents directly into MSP workflows. But technology is only one part of the challenge. Educating the market and addressing the behavioral change required is just as important. We’ve all gotten used to doing things a certain way, but this era of AI demands we unlearn and relearn. That’s where community, peer learning, and real-world use cases make a huge difference. The adoption path is built in, making it seamless and scalable.

ChannelE2E: For MSPs that may not yet have strong AI expertise, how does SuperOps lower the barrier to entry?

Arvind Parthiban: AI can be adopted in many forms, from providing insights to fully automating problems, all with the goal of driving efficiency. The idea is to start small, but start somewhere meaningful. That’s why our marketplace delivers pre-trained agents for common use cases, lowering the barrier to adoption. Once MSPs see the benefits, AI adoption naturally grows and matures.
