Veeam Software Updates ProPartner Network Program

Data protection and ransomware recovery company Veeam Software has announced significant updates to its Veeam ProPartner Network program.

The enhancements are designed to support partners worldwide, capitalizing on the increasing use of Veeam's technology in addressing cyber threats and ensuring business continuity.

The updates to the ProPartner Network program focus on improving partner profitability in a more predictable manner and safeguarding the business relationships partners have with Veeam, the company said. These enhancements include better margin opportunities, expanded deal registration eligibility, and new price protection measures for incumbent partners.

Training and Marketing Support for Partners

The program now offers enhanced sales and technical training, particularly in areas like Cybersecurity, Disaster Recovery, SaaS, Kubernetes data protection, and Public Cloud solutions.

Additionally, there is an increase in marketing support, with more programs and resources made available through the Veeam Marketing Center via the ProPartner Portal, Veeam said.

Partner Growth Plans

Larissa Crandall, VP of Global Channel and Alliances, Veeam, commented:

“Veeam is a partner-first company. Partners have been a critical element in Veeam’s success and will continue to be at the center of our continued growth. We invest significant time listening to our partners and exploring how we can work better together, and of course help them deliver the Veeam Data Platform to secure the best possible outcomes for our joint customers. Successful channel programs must give partners a predictable and profitable business. Throughout 2024, Veeam will be announcing a series of new program enhancements through collaboration with partners, alliances, and GSIs that will strengthen our overall partner ecosystem and enable radical resilience in a world where our technology is protecting customers from a growing range of threats to their data and business continuity.”

Veeam’s Partner Growth

Veeam has spent the last few years building out various partner programs.

As recently as December 2023, the company announced a new relationship with Numberline Security to bolster its Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery offering.

In October, Veeam also announced a strategic partnership with cybersecurity services firm Sophos.

The company also released Cirrus by Veeam, its Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering, the same month.
