runZero Taps Aqaio to Expand Exposure Management Platform in Germany

runZero is stepping up its presence in Europe through a new channel partnership with Aqaio, a Germany-based distributor focused on advanced cybersecurity solutions. The move positions Aqaio as runZero’s primary distribution partner in the DACH region, with a clear goal: make the exposure management platform more accessible to organizations navigating increasingly fragmented digital environments.

For German companies managing complex IT estates and evolving compliance mandates, exposure visibility remains a persistent challenge. That’s where the runZero-Aqaio partnership fits. Aqaio brings local cybersecurity expertise, strong reseller relationships, and experience helping customers operationalize security tools quickly. By combining that with runZero’s agentless discovery and asset visibility capabilities, the partnership aims to make it easier for IT and security teams to map and manage risk across their environments.

A Focused Channel Strategy for Long-Term Growth

The partnership also reflects runZero’s broader channel strategy across EMEA. Joe Taborek, Chief Revenue Officer at runZero told ChannelE2E that the focus is on working with a select group of trusted, security-focused partners who align with the company’s growth ambitions. “At runZero, our EMEA channel strategy is rooted in a partner-centric and channel-first approach,” Taborek explained. “We're building an ecosystem of partners who can help us scale effectively across the region. With a strong foundation of 75 customers already in place, the next 12 to 18 months will be about expanding that footprint through committed, well-aligned relationships.”

That expansion effort is backed by a joint go-to-market plan with Aqaio that prioritizes partner enablement. “runZero and Aqaio are leveraging our collective expertise in exposure management to jointly enable our resellers and MSPs,” Taborek said. “We’re providing enablement sessions, customizable sales assets, marketing support, and a strong margin structure to help partners move quickly and profitably.”

Challenging Legacy Tools With Visibility and Margins

The exposure management space is gaining traction across Europe, but it’s also crowded with legacy tools that often fall short when it comes to visibility and data quality. Taborek sees an opportunity to shift the conversation. “We’ve seen strong interest from partners who’ve been carrying these legacy solutions, but their customers are frustrated. The visibility gaps and unreliable data have become pain points,” he noted. “runZero’s platform can either complement or fully replace those tools. And with better margins and better outcomes, it improves both the customer experience and the economics for the channel.”

As part of the partnership, Aqaio will also lead implementation logistics, partner training, and local support, making it easier for regional resellers and integrators to adopt and deliver the platform. For runZero, it’s a step toward scaling its exposure management approach across Europe, starting with a partner that understands the local market and can help turn strategy into execution.
