ReachOut Technology Acquires RedGear to Bolster IT Services Offerings

ReachOut Technology has acquired RedGear, LLC, a Texas and Arizona-based company specializing in professional technology services. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ReachOut Technology, founded in 2010, is based in Mokena, Illinois. The company has 17 associated members listed on LinkedIn. ReachOut's areas of expertise include IT Management, Cloud Services, IT Support, Data Backup Services, Business Strategy, IT Consulting, Phone Systems / VoIP, and Cybersecurity.

RedGear, founded in 2015, is based in El Paso, Texas. The company has 15 associated members listed on LinkedIn. RedGear's areas of expertise include IT consulting and integration.

The acquisition adds nearly $4 million in revenue to ReachOut’s portfolio and also introduces specialized services in the education and government sectors, including Structured Cabling and Secure Access Control, the company said in a statement. The acquisition particularly strengthens ReachOut’s position in the Education sector and Department of Defense (DoD) compliance services, positioning the company at the forefront of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) readiness.
