Portal26 has introduced its Managed Intelligence Platform, designed to equip Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with the tools to manage client AI usage, enhance security, and generate recurring revenue from AI adoption.
As detailed in CRN, the new platform offers MSPs visibility into how their clients are utilizing AI, implements security and governance controls, and provides capabilities to measure the return on AI investments. Portal26 initially developed the platform for enterprise clients but shifted its strategy due to significant inbound demand from small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
To support MSPs, Portal26 also launched Point2 Academy, a partner training program focused on AI management services, covering sales, deployment, and support. This initiative aims to position MSPs as trusted advisors for businesses navigating the complexities of AI adoption. The platform can identify AI usage patterns and potential risks within minutes of deployment, offering natural language querying for data analysis and risk assessment. Portal26 anticipates a shift towards increased AI spending and is developing features to help clients track costs and evaluate returns, ultimately fostering a new advisory relationship between MSPs and their clients.
