Netsurion: One Business, At Least Three MSP Opportunities

Netsurion, an MSP-friendly technology company, has spent recent months fine-tuning its corporate brand and associated solutions. The results, including today's BranchSDO launch, are hitting the market now.

The opportunity and challenge: Netsurion merged with EventTracker in October 2016, bringing together various managed security services and SIEM solutions. MSPs have embraced the products and services. But some partners haven't seen the bigger picture because they were fixated on either the Netsurion or EventTracker brand.

"We wanted our partners to see the bigger picture -- the full story" encompassing the entire company, says Aaron Branson, VP of marketing at Netsurion.

One Company, Clear Focus

With that goal in mind, the company developed a clear corporate mission, and three core areas of focus:

  • The concise mission: Netsurion powers secure and agile networks for highly distributed and small-to-medium enterprises and the IT providers that serve them.
  • Three solution areas: The associated solutions that fulfill that mission address (1) Secure Connectivity, (2) Threat Protection, and (3) Compliance Readiness.

Netsurion quietly pieced together the branding and positioning plan in 2017 before rolling out website upgrades and other brand updates in recent weeks. One of the first associated product launches arrives today. It's called BranchSDO.

By the way: The EventTracker product, a popular SIEM offering, continues to gain momentum and is now part of the Threat Protection solution set. We'll share more details about EventTracker's positioning within Netsurion within the next few days on MSSP Alert.
