Guardz Cyber Ltd. has integrated Palo Alto Networks Inc.’s Prisma Browser for Business into its security platform to enhance protection for small businesses managed by service providers, according to a recent report by Silicon Angle.
The integration addresses the growing threat of phishing attacks that exploit gaps between disparate security tools. By combining browser-side detection with email and endpoint telemetry, the platform allows security providers to manage threats as a single incident. Palo Alto Networks utilizes machine learning models and advanced URL filtering to block malicious sites and fake sign-in pages in real time. The system also scans file uploads and downloads while identifying risky browser extensions. Guardz handles the provisioning and configuration, enabling providers to deploy the solution across Chrome and Edge profiles efficiently.
Furthermore, the platform includes AI usage controls that allow technicians to set specific policies for generative artificial intelligence services, restricting data transfers by category or website. This development follows the 2023 acquisition of Talon Cyber Security Ltd. by Palo Alto Networks and the subsequent launch of its small business browser solution in March. Guardz, which recently secured 56 million dollars in funding, aims to bridge visibility gaps in the modern workspace by providing autonomous threat investigation capabilities for managed service providers.
