Hook Security has appointed Nick Wolf as its VP of Sales, putting an experienced MSP channel executive in charge of its next phase of growth. In this role, Wolf will oversee global revenue operations, including sales, marketing, and channel activity, as the company looks to expand its partner base over the next 12 months.Wolf brings more than 15 years of channel experience, with a background in cybersecurity and software companies serving MSPs and SMBs. He spent nearly a decade at Datto and later held roles at SKOUT Cybersecurity, Evo Security, and Cork. Wolf's experience gives Hook a stronger path into the MSP market as the company is trying to grow in a saturated MSP ecosystem where partners are looking for security products that are easy to package, sell, and manage across many small business customers.Hook’s focus is security awareness training built around what the company calls “Psychological Security,” or PsySec. The idea is to train employees to spot the emotional triggers behind phishing and social engineering attacks, not just the obvious technical red flags. For MSPs, that gives Hook a clearer services angle: helping customers reduce human-risk exposure in a way that can be delivered as part of a broader managed security stack. The appointment also signals that Hook wants to make its MSP motion more formal. The company is leaning into channel-friendly terms, including no long-term contracts, no large minimum purchase, free NFR licenses for MSP use, and a price-lock guarantee.Upcoming Fireside Chat: The Future of Human-Centric SecurityHook will also host a fireside chat with CEO Zach Eikenberry and Wolf to discuss the threat landscape, MSP channel trends, and the company’s roadmap.
