ControlMonkey Expands Channel Reach with New Global Partner Program

A luminous 3D cloud icon, composed of interconnected lines and glowing nodes, hovers above a detailed circuit board. The circuit board features intricate pathways and a central processor chip, illuminated by subtle blue and orange lights. The background is dark with soft, out-of-focus blue bokeh lights, creating a sense of depth and a futuristic atmosphere.

ControlMonkey, known for helping enterprises manage Terraform at scale, has launched its new Global Partner Program to strengthen collaboration with VARs, MSPs, and technology partners. The program comes shortly after the company was named a 2025 Stellar Startup by CRN, recognizing its growing impact on the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation space.

A Unified Framework for IaC Growth

The Global Partner Program brings a structured model for partners to deliver automation, compliance, and resilience across enterprise cloud environments. It’s designed for those building services around Terraform, OpenTofu, and IaC automation - key areas where DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams continue to balance speed with governance and security.

Amir Regev, Global Director of Partnerships & Cloud Alliances at ControlMonkey, told ChannelE2E that the new program directly expands opportunities for partners already managing Terraform or multi-cloud environments.

“ControlMonkey’s Global Partner Program expands opportunities for MSPs and VARs by adding attachable plays for Terraform and multi-cloud, such as brownfield-to-IaC, daily config backup, drift alerts, and restore-as-code,” he said. “These use cases align with CIOs, CISOs, and DevSecOps leaders and run across AWS, Azure, GCP, and major third-party stacks like Okta, Cloudflare, Databricks, and Snowflake.”

He added that the company’s multi-tenant console standardizes service delivery with built-in guardrails, change windows, and audit-ready reporting per customer. “Through enablement and playbooks, partners can easily launch Assessment → Backup → DR-drills on existing Git, CI/CD, and Terraform setups, boosting attach rates and recurring revenue, without a rip-and-replace approach,” Regev explained.

Compliance and Drift Remediation by Design

As enterprises scale their Terraform usage, ensuring compliance and reducing configuration drift become critical. ControlMonkey’s IaC automation platform is built to address both. “ControlMonkey goes beyond traditional workspace management by converting brownfield environments into clean, production-ready IaC with one-click code and safe plan validation,” said Regev. “Compliance is built by design, with policy guardrails, change windows and approvals, least-privilege runs, and immutable audit trails for CIO, CISO, and DevSecOps visibility.”

He noted that drift remediation is another area where the company stands apart. “Rather than simply detecting drift, we enable guided pull requests or restore-as-code from known-good backups to undo errors or malicious changes,” Regev said. “Multi-tenant control lets MSSPs and MSPs enforce standards and deliver audit-ready reports across all customers and environments.”

Scaling a Global Partner Ecosystem

With early partners such as MidLink and GlobalDots already engaged, ControlMonkey is expanding its ecosystem with a focus on both scalability and regional specialization. “The Partner Program enables two revenue motions for MSSPs, MSPs, and VARs,” Regev explained. “Packaged plays like assessments, brownfield-to-IaC conversions, backups, drift detection, and DR drills create strong recurring income opportunities, while MSSPs can attach IaC automation and cloud resilience to existing SOC or NOC retainers to expand ARR.”

These plays give partners a way to differentiate themselves through measurable outcomes. “Partners can now deliver CIO and CISO outcomes like RTO/RPO metrics and audit trails with multi-tenant operations and executive-ready reporting,” he added.

Driving Recurring Revenue with the Power of Three

The new program is built around what Regev calls the “Power of 3” go-to-market motion: “Cloud provider plus consulting or MSSP partner plus ControlMonkey,” he said. “Together, this delivers packaged IaC and resilience solutions as one unified offering.”

Customers can purchase through AWS, Azure, or GCP Marketplaces to draw down cloud commitments and accelerate procurement. ControlMonkey also partners with leading system integrators to fund proof-of-concept credits, migration projects, and resilience assessments that lower the total cost of ownership and de-risk adoption.

“The program is designed for global coverage with an initial focus on North America, the UK, and DACH,” Regev said. “Regional specializations and cloud-aligned incentives further support partner growth and long-term recurring-revenue opportunities.”

Partners gain access to enablement resources, co-marketing opportunities, and technical training designed to speed adoption and customer impact. Benefits include sales and technical upskilling, dedicated partner environments for demos and innovation, and joint go-to-market programs that raise visibility across regions.
