Accenture Acquires Asset Performance Management Consultancy T.A. Cook

Global IT consulting firm Accenture has acquired T.A. Cook, a consultancy specializing in asset performance management. The deal is designed to further bolster Accenture's Industry X group. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1994, T.A. Cook is headquartered in Berlin, Germany, and has additional offices in CanadaHong Kong and the United States. T.A. Cook provides services in data-driven maintenance, operations and asset life cycle management including a proprietary as-a-service reliability solution.

T.A. Cook's 130 consultants, engineers, and development coaches will join Accenture's Industry X group. Those team members will help customers to digitize engineering functions and improve performance management across factory floors, project management office services and plant operations, according to the statement.
