The effort involves CloudHealth Technologies (which VMware is acquiring) and ParkMyCloud. Their partnership will integrate CloudHealth's governance capabilities with ParkMyCloud's automated cost control features. Together, CloudHealth Technologies and ParkMyCloud provide end-to-end multi-cloud cost control, which saves you significant time and money while making managing cloud easy.
According to ParkMyCloud, joint customers will gain:
- Improved Cloud ROI: Policy-driven automation helps eliminate mundane tasks and enables teams to roll out new offerings and updates faster to market, the company asserts.
- Ability to Drive More Strategic Projects: Rather than focusing on simply maintaining, technical experts can shift their efforts to continuously innovate.
- Simplified Hybrid Cloud Governance: Broken down by environment, department, application, resource and more, this integrated offering allows teams to implement better resource management through customizable dashboards for different personas such as CFO and CTO, among others.
- Analytics: Users gain insight and can use this visibility to make smarter business decisions.

The partnership comes a few days after VMware confirmed plans to acquired CloudHealth. VMWare intends to combine the CloudHealth platform with its existing Wavefront, Secure State, and Cloud Automation services.
