NetBox Labs Raises $35M to Support AI-Driven Infrastructure Growth

NetBox Labs has closed a $35 million Series B round to help enterprises modernize and automate their network infrastructure, reports CRN. As more organizations build AI applications and scale data center capacity, there’s a growing need for infrastructure that can handle complex requirements around performance, security, and availability. NetBox, which grew out of a widely adopted open-source project, is positioning itself as the control plane for this next generation of infrastructure.

The company is already working with customers like J.P. Morgan, U.S. federal agencies, and fast-growing AI startups like CoreWeave to manage large-scale environments. For CoreWeave, NetBox helps accelerate new data center buildouts, critical for keeping pace with demand for high-performance compute tied to Nvidia GPUs. That ability to automate and orchestrate infrastructure from day one is becoming a competitive advantage for AI-native companies.

The funding will support NetBox Labs’ global expansion plans, with hiring across product, engineering, customer success, and partnerships. The company is also formalizing a channel program to help partners deliver its infrastructure stack as part of broader transformation projects. According to the company, partner-led deals already represent a significant portion of revenue.

As global AI investment accelerates (IDC expects spending to hit $360 billion this year) companies are under pressure to rethink how they build and manage infrastructure. NetBox Labs wants to be the common layer that brings consistency, automation, and visibility to that process. With more funding in hand, the startup is aiming to expand its reach without losing the open-source roots that helped get it here.
