Echelon Brings AI Agents to Enterprise IT Delivery

Echelon has launched from stealth with a $4.75 million seed round led by Bain Capital Ventures. The company wants to change how enterprises build and manage IT systems by using AI agents instead of traditional consulting models. Its platform can deliver ServiceNow projects in days instead of months, removing the need for offshore developers and cutting costs and delays that usually come with large implementations.

For years, companies have struggled to roll out and maintain enterprise tools like ServiceNow. Skilled developers are hard to find, and projects often take too long or fall short of expectations. Echelon’s AI agents are trained to handle the full process—from setup and customization to updates and maintenance—working alongside IT teams to keep things consistent and reliable.

“The biggest barrier to digital transformation isn’t the technology—it’s the time it takes to implement it,” said Rahul Kayala, founder and CEO of Echelon. By automating these steps, Echelon helps enterprises roll out changes faster and with fewer errors. Early users in tech, finance, and healthcare say it’s helping them take on projects that used to feel out of reach.

With its new funding, Echelon plans to grow its technical team and expand beyond ServiceNow. The company’s bigger bet is that AI agents will become a core part of how IT services are delivered—shifting the focus from people doing the work to software that gets it done.
