CrowdStrike and BT Partner to Transform UK SMB Cybersecurity

Hacker attack. Security alert, system hacked, internet cyber attack concept with red broken padlock, cybersecurity. Compromised password.

CrowdStrike and BT are joining forces to bring enterprise-grade cybersecurity to small and medium-sized businesses across the UK. Through the new BT Business Antivirus Detect and Respond service, powered by CrowdStrike Falcon Go, the partnership aims to make advanced, AI-driven protection accessible to organizations that often struggle with limited budgets and resources.

For many UK SMBs, cyberattacks are no longer a distant concern - they’re a daily reality. Yet most still lack the technology and expertise to defend against increasingly sophisticated threats. CrowdStrike’s latest research shows that only a small fraction of SMBs have adopted AI-based defenses, leaving the majority exposed to ransomware and data breaches that can disrupt operations and damage reputation.

The new service combines CrowdStrike’s AI-native Falcon Go platform with BT’s managed security support to give SMBs continuous protection and response capabilities without adding complexity. It’s designed to install quickly, run efficiently, and deliver ongoing monitoring and assistance from BT’s security specialists. The goal is to give smaller businesses the same level of defense previously reserved for large enterprises, but in a model that fits their scale and budget.

For both companies, this partnership is about more than a product - it’s a strategy to close the cybersecurity gap for UK businesses. By simplifying how SMBs access, deploy, and maintain modern protection, BT and CrowdStrike are helping them safeguard what matters most: their data, operations, and ability to compete confidently in a digital economy.
