Cisco 360 Expands Security Play for Partners

Cisco is preparing to launch its revamped partner program, Cisco 360, which aims to make it easier for different types of security-focused partners, including MDR providers and boutique firms, to integrate into its ecosystem, according to Channel Futures. With the rise of hybrid security environments and growing demand for managed services, Cisco 360 provides a more structured, accessible path for partners to participate in the company’s broader go-to-market strategy.

A notable addition is the Splunk partner track, which formalizes how Splunk-centric partners engage with Cisco’s offerings. This aligns with Cisco’s larger push into three defined areas: universal ZTNA, hybrid-mesh firewalls, and next-generation SOC capabilities. Features like no-cost firewall log ingestion into Splunk are positioned as practical tools to strengthen integration and ease operational burdens for partners.

Cisco is also working to streamline partner engagement through tools like the security concierge desk, a deal registration support system designed to simplify the process for newer security partners and drive alignment with Cisco’s programs. This initiative appears to be generating pipeline activity and encouraging more pure-play security firms to engage with Cisco’s platform.

As customer expectations evolve, especially around AI and cloud readiness, Cisco is incorporating more automation and agentic AI features across its security tools. Its MSP partner base, including those focused on Duo and SMB security, is seeing growing demand. Partners are responding positively to the changes, pointing to real gains in operational efficiency and a clearer security story to take to market.
