Astelia Raises $35M for Evidence-Driven Exposure Management

Astelia has raised $35 million in combined seed and Series A funding led by Index Ventures and Team8, with participation from Holly Ventures. The New York-based company is already working with dozens of large enterprises and plans to use the capital to expand its AI analysis, scale deployments, and grow its research, engineering, and go-to-market teams. The focus is on helping organizations move away from volume-based vulnerability workflows toward exposure decisions grounded in real attack paths.

The funding comes as vulnerability growth and faster exploitation timelines are stretching security and IT operations. Enterprises are dealing with a steady stream of new findings while attackers are able to operationalize them in shorter windows. That dynamic leaves teams working through large backlogs without clear proof of what is actually reachable in their own environments, turning prioritization into a continuous triage exercise.

Astelia’s platform analyzes each customer’s network topology, segmentation, and existing controls and correlates that with the technical conditions required for exploitation. Agentic AI models trained on real-world offensive and defensive research are used to map attack paths and validate reachability. The output is a small, environment-specific set of vulnerabilities that represent real exposure, along with remediation plans that avoid unnecessary patching in production systems.

The company was founded by leaders from Israel’s National Red Team, with experience in critical-infrastructure testing and large-scale defensive programs. Its roadmap centers on deeper attack-path modeling and tighter alignment between security and IT remediation. The underlying shift is from theoretical risk scoring to provable exposure, where mitigation effort is tied to what an attacker can actually reach inside a live environment.
