RapidFire Tools, an IT assessment software company, has unveiled Detector Service Delivery System. The result: MSPs gain tools to deliver and customize cybersecurity services.

The new RapidFire Tools Detector Service Delivery System (SDS) provides MSPs with an unlimited-use license for the company's cybersecurity alerting application. It helps MSPs define the level of service they provide to customers, create marketing materials and automate cybersecurity workflows.

The RapidFire Tools Detector cybersecurity alerting appliance is designed for MSPs that want a "standalone, low-cost 'insurance policy' to help identify potential cyber threats that would otherwise go undetected," RapidFire Tools stated.

A Detector software appliance will perform a daily scan of an entire network, along with anything connected to it directly or remotely. After each scan, alerts can be sent to a variety of resources based on an MSP's workflow.

How Does Detector SDS Work?

Detector SDS comes pre-configured with three "white-labeled" cybersecurity service plans:

  • Silver.
  • Gold.
  • Platinum.

The silver plan offers a "baseline" level of cybersecurity, RapidFire Tools stated. Comparatively, the gold and platinum plans require a higher level of engagement by an MSP and provide additional protection against cybersecurity threats.

MSPs can offer these plans "out of the box" or adjust the service plans as needed, according to RapidFire Tools. The plans can be renamed and branded by an MSP as well.

In addition, Detector SDS automatically generates a branded "Plan Matrix" sales sheet that MSPs can present to prospects and customers, RapidFire Tools indicated. Detector SDS can even produce a branded service catalog for each Plan Matrix that outlines the deliverables included with each level of service.

Ultimately, Detector SDS represents a "genuine breakthrough for the MSP market," RapidFire Tools President Michael Mittel said in a prepared statement. It gives MSPs tools and best practices to help them deliver and customize their cybersecurity services.

"With Network Detective's new Detector SDS offering, MSPs have the option to license a full range of tools and instructional blueprints that teaches them, step-by-step, how to create a replicable—and lucrative—portfolio of cybersecurity services based on Detector's powerful threat-alert capabilities," Mittel said.

Detector SDS is available through an annual subscription, with a fixed monthly fee of $499. This fee includes an unlimited-use license for the Detector software appliance across all clients.
