    Phil Johnson:

Do big-data storage and analytics solutions not care whether data is structured and “normalized” relationally? I.e., (1) does it take more effort and cost to “query” and derive meaning from non-relational data? and therefore (2) is a company generally better off if, when transforming itself to new transactional systems, it structures its data-management systems to be as “relational” as possible?
