NV5, founded in 1947, is based in Hollywood, Florida. The company has 2,399 employees listed on LinkedIn. NV5’s areas of expertise include utility services, infrastructure engineering, testing, inspection and consulting, geotechnical, environmental, civil and program management, MEP engineering, code consulting, commissioning, retro-commissioning, technology design and energy optimization.

KMK Technologies, founded in 1971, is based in Monroeville, New Jersey. The company has one employee listed on LinkedIn. KMK’s areas of expertise include sound, video, acoustics, AV, audio/visual, consulting, technology, systems, integration, construction, design, schematic and programmatic.

NV5 provides technology, conformity assessment and consulting solutions.

KMK provides audiovisual, lighting, security, and IT systems for the facilities of both public and private sector clients. KMK will be integrated into NV5’s Buildings and Clean Energy business, according to NV5. The acquisition was made with a combination of cash and stock and will be immediately accretive to NV5’s earnings, the company said.
