VMware Cloud on AWS seemingly enjoyed "most favorite nation" status in VMware's public cloud strategy over the past year or two. But more recently, VMware announced closer work with Microsoft Azure, and the virtualization software company also has some work in place with Google Cloud Platform and IBM Cloud.The overall strategy has been treating VMware well. The company's fiscal year 2019 revenues were $8.97 billion, up 14 percent vs. 2018.
