Trilogy Technologies Group has acquired IT cybersecurity and workspace virtualization solutions provider Zinopy Security. The combined company has 100 employees, annual revenue of roughly €20 million (US$23.4 million); and offices in Dublin, Ireland and London.
Trilogy's expanded services portfolio now spans virtualization and cloud computing; IT security and risk management; mobility; and professional, managed and consulting services.
Both companies have previous M&A experience.
- Zinopy was formed in 2010 through a management buyout, and also acquired a business in 2012.
- Trilogy was founded in 2009 and acquired a London business in 2014.
Describing this latest business combination Trilogy Group Managing Director Edel Creely said:

M&A activity across the UK and Ireland has been strong. Among the example deals:
- June 2018: Irish IT firm Version 1 acquired London HR Transformation, an Oracle cloud services partner, making it Version 1’s sixth buyout of a UK business.
- March 2018: Exigent Networks, Irish Telecom and Netforce merged under a new corporate brand called Paradyn.
- April 2017: Ireland-based Microsoft cloud and Dell EMC partner EMIT acquired Softech for an undisclosed sum.
