Trend Micro’s Partner Program: Additional Commentary

Louise McEvoy, Vice President of US channels at Trend Micro, commented:

"Breaches are increasing. Many global organizations don't have the resources required by a complete SOC. For those that do, there's often a challenge of tool redundancy and excessive alerts. This presents an opportunity for MSSPs to provide more value to customers if they can identify the right platform for SOCaaS."

Jay McBain, Chief Analyst at Canalys, remarked:

"Trend's channel-centric approach suggests they are geared to address the growing MSSP market. Diversifying their offerings beyond technology to include channel-based services like this new initiative could strengthen their market position."

Randy Watkins, CTO for Critical Start, said:

"Trend has introduced enhancements to support an efficient MDR service. The Vision One platform aligns with the increasing demand for risk transparency without additional strain on security teams, allowing us to offer value and enhance cyber resilience."
