SailPoint and Deloitte are expanding their alliance to help enterprises secure autonomous AI agents and integrate them into existing identity governance frameworks. The collaboration combines SailPoint’s upcoming Agent Identity Security and Harbor Pilot solutions with Deloitte’s AI governance strategy and implementation services, aimed at helping enterprises manage growing identity complexity without adding operational risk.

Aligning Identity Governance with the Rise of AI Agents

The partnership focuses on a fast-emerging challenge: securing and governing non-human identities as AI agents become embedded in business workflows. SailPoint’s platform helps surface and manage these identities, while Deloitte provides the implementation guidance needed to operationalize oversight at scale.

“AI agents absolutely introduce new complexity, and that’s exactly why our alliance with Deloitte matters,” said Matt Mills, President of SailPoint. “We’re not pretending these changes are simple. Autonomous and semi-autonomous agents expand the identity surface and pose entirely new governance challenges. But it’s important to note that risk isn’t new; it’s been there all along, largely hidden. With SailPoint Agent Identity Security, we’ll help enterprises finally see it, understand it, and get ahead of it.”

Reducing Risk Without Overhauling Existing Workflows

A key strength of the offering is its ability to integrate into current workflows without major disruption. SailPoint’s Harbor Pilot allows identity teams to build digital agents in natural language, while Deloitte helps organizations apply guardrails that support real-world use cases and compliance requirements.

“With Harbor Pilot, identity teams can build and deploy agents in natural language without overhauling their existing systems,” Mills said. “Those agents plug directly into current workflows, but they require a new level of oversight. This is where Deloitte comes in. Their role goes beyond implementation, it’s strategic guidance. They help organizations rethink identity governance in an AI-driven world.”

Accelerating AI Security Adoption Across Industries

For organizations without deep AI or identity security expertise, Deloitte acts as an enabler, helping teams identify use cases, deploy tools, and build maturity quickly and confidently.

“Deloitte plays a critical role in accelerating how customers adopt Harbor Pilot and our broader Agent Identity Security capabilities, especially for those without deep in-house AI or identity expertise,” said Mills. “Combined with SailPoint’s platform, this partnership enables faster, more efficient rollouts, whether it’s a bank in Singapore or a retailer in Chicago. It’s all about speed, scale, and confidence in execution.”

Helping Regulated Enterprises Scale Securely

Enterprises operating in complex, highly regulated environments need more than tools—they need frameworks that account for compliance, risk, and scale. That’s where Deloitte’s advisory depth becomes critical.

“Deloitte is a key strategic partner for us because they know how to guide complex organizations through transformational change, and that’s exactly what AI-driven identity governance represents,” Mills said. “This isn’t about layering on another tool, it’s about rethinking how identity is managed in a world where AI is an active participant in business operations.”

As identity expands beyond humans to include autonomous agents, SailPoint and Deloitte are working to ensure security teams aren’t left behind. Their alliance offers a way forward, combining visibility, policy enforcement, and advisory expertise to help enterprises govern AI in real-time and at scale.
