Praecipio Acquires Gurnet Consulting to Expand Atlassian Practice

Praecipio has acquired Gurnet Consulting, an Atlassian-specialized management consulting firm. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Praecipio Consulting, founded in 2006, is based in Austin, Texas. The company has 88 employees listed on LinkedIn. Praecipio’s areas of expertise include Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Bamboo, Atlassian Fisheye, Atlassian Crucible, Atlassian Bitbucket, ITIL best practices, business process improvement, Technical Assessment, Managed Services & Hosting, and Atlassian Training.

Gurnet is based in Providence, Rhode Island. The company has 23 employees listed on LinkedIn. The acquisition will broaden Praecipio's global practice in the Northeastern Core of the U.S. and Canada and reinforces its mission to build connected enterprises, the company said in a statement.
