Onica, a Canadian MSP focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS), has hired Slalom veteran David MacKay as VP of customer strategy for Canada.Goran KimovskiGoran Kimovski, SVP of global customer solutions at Onica, commented on the news:

Earlier in his career, he held key posts at SAS Institute and Cognos (now owned by IBM), two business intelligence software providers.
Onica Grows AWS Cloud Business Practice
Onica joined the AWS Partner Network (APN) in 2013. Among the company’s key areas of focus: AWS cloud management, migration services, DevOps automation, security and compliance, big data and analytics, Microsoft on AWS, and more.Onica was founded as CorpInfo in 1983, but the company has focused mainly on AWS the past five years.The company raised $20 million and acquired Sturdy Networks, another AWS partner, in 2017.
