New Charter Debuts Digital Transformation Methodology

Distributed cloud firewalls

New Charter Technologies, a portfolio company of private equity firm Oval Partners, has created a Digital Transformation Methodology that provides organizations with "a clear path to continuous improvement in their operations, processes and systems," according to the business.

An organization can use New Charter's Digital Transformation Methodology to ensure that its employees, customers and suppliers can get the most value out of its technologies, the company said.

How New Charter's Digital Transformation Methodology Works

New Charter's Digital Transformation Methodology consists of five steps:

  1. BlueSky executive session in which New Charter learns about an organization's digital transformation objectives, CEO Mitch Morgan said.
  2. Assessment and alignment of an organization's objectives.
  3. Blueprint that outlines the solutions and custom path for an organization to achieve its objectives.
  4. Build-out in which New Charter helps an organization craft its plan for success.
  5. Optimization and maturity of a digital transformation plan by tracking metrics and measuring success.

What the Digital Transformation Methodology Offers

The Digital Transformation Methodology bridges the "consumption gap" between an organization's technologies and its employees, customers and suppliers, New Charter stated.

For example, an organization can use the methodology to identify what digital technologies can benefit its employees, customers and suppliers. It can then set metrics for its digital transformation project and make sure that these metrics line up with its immediate and long-term goals. Next, the organization can monitor its progress in real time and keep its digital transformation project on track.

New Charter Offers Maturity Model Assessment Tool to Channel Vendors

The Digital Transformation Methodology announcement comes after New Charter in October 2023 launched its FrontRunner Maturity Model assessment tool for MSPs and other channel vendors.

This tool provides channel vendors with business data and insights from 24 MSPs. By doing so, it shows channel vendors industry best practices that they can use to create "a clear roadmap for continuous improvement," New Charter said.

New Charter offers IT services to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in more than 10 industries across North America. The company follows an equity partnership model in conjunction with Oval and has "acquired" more than 20 companies since 2020.
