Moovila Helps MSPs Get Client Projects Underway with Moovila Project Hub

Project automation vendor Moovila has launched a new Project Hub library to give busy MSPs a set of working templates they can use to get a quicker start on building and managing client work projects.

The Project Hub offers downloadable starter templates for typical client projects such as customer onboarding, cloud migrations, and network upgrades, according to the company.

“Project Hub provides MSPs with a practical starting point for consistently and effectively running projects,” Mike Psenka, the president and CEO of Moovila, told ChannelE2E. “MSPs are already doing the work, but keeping timelines aligned while maintaining clear communication is a big challenge without a shared structure. Project Hub provides standardized templates based on real MSP processes, which help teams move faster while reducing uncertainty around project timelines.”

The new feature, which is included at no additional charge with Moovila’s other products and services, was created based on feedback from MSPs, said Psenka.

“They shared their pain points and challenges with us, and we listened,” he said. “With this new offering, MSPs can gain a comprehensive understanding of their project processes, eliminate the need to start every project from scratch, and reduce inconsistencies that slow down teams.”

The Project Hub templates are customizable and are designed to prevent teams from having to reinvent the wheel with each new project, according to Moovila.

“When these processes are streamlined, teams can accomplish more in less time and focus on higher-level work that customers are looking for,” said Psenka. “Better structure and consistency also keep customers happy as MSPs grow.”

While the Project Hub is just getting started now, it is expected to grow over time as additional project templates are added and refined by Moovila, creating a shared library where Moovila MSP partners will also be able to contribute their own templates and best practices, said Psenka.

“MSPs will be able to learn from each other in a familiar community space,” he said. “We are supporting collaboration between MSPs to help them share best practices and industry knowledge, as well as serve their customers better.”

Pilot testing of the Project Hub capabilities by MSP customers of Moovila showed positive results, including hours of time savings for users through the use of the templates and related features, said Psenka.

“This foundation makes it easier to scale services, onboard new team members and clients, and maintain consistency across projects,” he said. “MSPs can see the phases, tasks, sequencing, and dependencies of each project. This clarity enables teams to work with predictable timelines and track shared progress.”

A Fully Featured Template Library

The project templates are preloaded with relevant information categories, including typical project phases, tasks, milestones, dependencies, durations, and more.

Some 59% of MSPs surveyed by Moovila cited project scope creep as their biggest project challenge, while 56% reported struggling with inaccurate timelines, according to Moovila’s latest industry research.

That is where the Project Hub can be used to help address these issues and allow teams to quickly launch projects directly within their Moovila environments while adjusting phases and tasks to fit their specific company processes, according to the company.
