Established in 1998, Leveraging Technology is a privately-held IT consulting company with a client base that includes Fortune 500 corporations and smaller regional companies spanning many different industries—including health care, manufacturing, food services, banking, and financial services.

For its part, Lightwell provides integration, supply chain, Omnichannel order management, and data analytics services and solutions.

Leveraging Technology’s consultancy services focus on integration, API management, enterprise architecture, and cloud/hybrid technologies. For Lightwell, the acquisition is an opportunity to address the heightened demand for advanced integration and architecture expertise, the company said.

Lightwell Acquires Leveraging Technology: Executive Perspectives

Many companies are investing in strategic initiatives centered on digital transformation, customer experience, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and more, with technology playing a crucial role in each.

Describing this particular deal, Kerr explained:

“There is a struggle to access critical data—when, where, and how it's needed—across many disconnected systems, applications, devices, and clouds. Also, it's a significant challenge to ensure that vital information flows seamlessly, quickly, and securely across all of these. These problems can't be solved by a software solution alone: they're challenges that span architecture, technology solutions, strategy, skills, business processes, and more. This is where the Leveraging Technology team excels—they bring all of this together, helping companies develop and fine-tune their strategies and roadmaps, implement the right technologies, overcome Integration challenges, optimize their IT environments, and align technology, people and processes for achieving their business goals."

Cantin added:

"Because Lightwell has such great relationships with many of their customers across North America and Europe, our team will be able to extend their reach and impact to other geographies and industries as well. With their impressive capabilities, resources, and partnerships, Lightwell will provide our team with a strong platform for growth."
