This week,
Kaseya rolled out its Fall 2025 release, which signals that the company is refining how MSPs run their businesses day to day - connecting automation, cybersecurity, and operational workflows into one framework. With more than 90 product enhancements, Kaseya is clearly focused on helping partners scale profitably while maintaining control over cost and complexity.
Jim Lippie, Chief Product Officer at Kaseya, told ChannelE2E that the updates reflect a deliberate strategy to make efficiency measurable, not just aspirational.
"There are several factors we track around efficiency, including events automatically remediated by our software and the number of endpoints/users per MSP technician,” he explained. “We’re seeing that the MSPs leveraging our security stack are implementing our machine learning-based rules engine to remediate issues without human intervention, which is dramatically increasing endpoints/users per technician and naturally increasing profits.”
This is central to how Kaseya measures the success of its innovations. The focus isn’t just on faster automation - it’s about aligning technical performance with economic outcomes. By tying automation to profitability metrics, Kaseya is showing MSPs how every rule, workflow, and integration can directly influence their margins.
Automation That Translates Into Real Efficiency
AI plays a central role in the Fall 2025 release, but Kaseya’s implementation is grounded in practical outcomes. In Autotask, Smart Ticket Triage automatically categorizes and routes tickets, cutting down on manual oversight and improving response times. Datto Endpoint Backup now generates executive-ready reports for QBRs without human intervention. And Datto BCDR integrates with Secure Edge VPN to automatically connect users to cloud recovery environments - an operational detail that reduces downtime and the need for configuration support.
Taken together, these features point to an automation philosophy built on simplification. Rather than layering new complexity onto MSP workflows, Kaseya is embedding automation where it naturally fits, improving the balance between technical responsiveness and human oversight.
Deepening Security Without Increasing Complexity
Kaseya’s ongoing expansion across the cybersecurity stack is equally calculated. With Smart Investigate in Datto EDR, analysts get AI-driven investigation guidance to help them triage alerts faster. IT Glue’s secure password sharing adds control and traceability for shared credentials, while SaaS Alerts introduces event-based indicators of compromise that cut through noise and surface actionable signals.
These improvements arrive alongside Kaseya’s integration of INKY, the AI-powered email security solution it recently acquired. The move strengthens Kaseya’s connected security architecture while raising an important operational question: how does the company scale this integration without creating friction for partners already managing multiple tools?
Lippie said the focus is on simplicity and consistency across the ecosystem. “Our customers are very excited about the INKY acquisition and the inclusion of INKY in our ‘K365 User’ subscription,” he said. “We’re trying to make the process straightforward. Customers who have or buy K365 User will have Inky provisioned in January, and we’re working hard to make that a seamless experience.”
That commitment reflects Kaseya’s broader product philosophy: unifying the partner experience across its expanding ecosystem without forcing operational change. As the company integrates acquisitions like INKY and launches cross-platform tools such as Datto Backup for Entra ID, the goal is to make every new capability feel native rather than additive.
Streamlining Business Operations and Customer Experience
Beyond automation and security, Kaseya is giving MSPs more control over how they run their businesses. The new Automation Center in KaseyaOne serves as a single catalog for discovering and enabling platform-wide workflows. Umbrella contracts in Autotask allow billing agreements for a client to be consolidated into one contract, improving visibility and reducing administrative overhead. And integrated “Pay Now” functionality through ConnectBooster speeds up payments directly from the client portal, turning what was once a manual process into an instant transaction.
Lippie said customer experience sits at the heart of these operational upgrades. “One of our goals is to always be improving our customers’ experience,” he noted. “Part of any customer experience is invoicing, agreement and pricing policies. We are constantly tracking customer sentiment in several forums to determine progress in these areas.”
Kaseya is shifting how it defines value. Instead of just adding new features, it’s focusing on partner results - looking at satisfaction, retention, and profitability, not just product use. The Fall 2025 release builds on what Kaseya announced at DattoCon, including the SIRIS 6 appliance, Datto Backup for Entra ID, and the INKY acquisition. All of it points to one goal: creating a single, connected IT and security platform for MSPs. The message is simple: Kaseya isn’t adding tools for the sake of it. It’s making them work better together. In a time when MSPs are under pressure to grow with limited resources, Kaseya is betting that automation and integration will help them boost both efficiency and profit.
