HPE Brings Blackwell-Powered ProLiant Servers and Private Cloud AI Updates to Market with Partner-Ready AI Stacks

HPE is expanding its NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio with new ProLiant Compute servers powered by NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture and enhanced capabilities in HPE Private Cloud AI. The updates are designed to meet the growing demand for enterprise-ready infrastructure that can handle generative, agentic, and physical AI workloads while creating new opportunities for channel partners to deliver ready-to-run AI stacks.

Blackwell-Powered ProLiant Servers

HPE will ship two configurations of ProLiant servers equipped with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs:

  • HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen11: Supports up to two RTX PRO 6000 GPUs in a new 2U RTX PRO Server form factor, built for air-cooled, enterprise-grade GPU acceleration in data centers.
  • HPE ProLiant DL380a Gen12: Supports up to eight RTX PRO 6000 GPUs in a 4U form factor, shipping in September.

These systems are purpose-built for a range of workloads - from generative and agentic AI to robotics, industrial automation, visual computing, simulation, and digital twins. They feature multi-layered security with HPE Integrated Lights Out (iLO) 7 Silicon Root of Trust and quantum-resistant firmware signing, plus lifecycle automation via HPE Compute Ops Management to reduce IT management hours and downtime.

Ashutosh Dubey, Vice President, World Wide Channel & Partner Ecosystem, HPC & AI at HPE, told ChannelE2E that the company is taking these new systems to market as complete, ready-to-run AI stacks so customers don’t have to piece together infrastructure themselves.

“HPE has a well-structured worldwide AI Focus Partners program for AI-specialized partners and, as announced at HPE Discover, we plan to add more AI Focus Partners to increase coverage and scale. We provide these partners with fast-track enablement, joint business planning for target accounts, joint GTM with NVIDIA, seed units, and support with many tools, processes, and programs.”

Building Partner AI Expertise

Alongside the hardware updates, HPE is focusing on deep partner enablement to drive adoption of Blackwell-powered systems across industries like manufacturing, robotics, and video analytics. Dubey explained,

“Whether the customer is running traditional compute workloads or accelerated computing environments for AI, refreshing with the latest HPE ProLiant Servers running on NVIDIA Blackwell systems is a significant opportunity for our partners. One of the key pillars of our AI channel strategy is building AI expertise within our broader partner community. We have self-directed courses, joint AI modules from HPE and NVIDIA, defined roadmaps for continuous learning badges, and AI competencies. Partners can also leverage our HPE HPC & AI Highfliers Community webinars, Private Cloud AI learning sessions, and boot camps to develop expertise in portfolio positioning, customer benefits, and vertical-specific use cases.”

Driving Recurring Revenue with AI Services

HPE’s partner strategy extends beyond selling systems to enabling recurring revenue opportunities. Dubey said, “With HPE’s AI portfolio, partners can bundle their own services around APIs, integrations, or custom solutions. They can also use ready-made templates or third-party ISV solutions available through the HPE Unleash AI ecosystem on top of our HPE Private Cloud AI systems. The Private Cloud AI management platform—powered by GreenLake—creates recurring revenue opportunities for as-a-service offerings across manageability, observability, GPU optimization, and more.”

Private Cloud AI Gains New Models and Blueprints

The upcoming release of HPE Private Cloud AI will integrate the latest NVIDIA AI models and Blueprints, giving enterprises faster deployment options for AI applications. Additions include:

  • NVIDIA Nemotron for agentic AI.
  • Cosmos Reason vision-language model for robotics and other physical AI use cases.
  • NVIDIA Blueprint for Video Search and Summarization (VSS 2.4) for building AI agents that extract insights from large-scale video datasets.

With its integration of NVIDIA accelerated computing, networking, and software, HPE Private Cloud AI is designed to help enterprises manage surging AI inference workloads while maintaining full control over their data.
