HackerOne Expands AI Security Ecosystem with New Technology Alliance Program

HackerOne has launched its PartnerOne Technology Alliance Program, aiming to connect technology providers with its AI-powered security platform to help organizations detect and remediate vulnerabilities faster. The initiative supports direct integrations that streamline remediation workflows while aligning with broader application security and cloud strategies.

The Technology Alliance Program sits alongside HackerOne’s Channel Sales Program and AWS Cloud Partner Program. Together, they form a three-pillar strategy designed to deliver a unified experience for resellers, technology providers, and cloud partners.

“The Technology Alliance Program is one of the three pillars of HackerOne’s broader PartnerOne strategy,” said John Addeo, Vice President of Partner Ecosystems at HackerOne. “Each pillar is built to complement the others, building a cohesive and connected channel ecosystem for our partners. Channel partners may co-sell alongside our technology partners, while our technology integrations often run through AWS, creating a more unified approach that delivers greater value to customers.”

Focused on Integration and Real-Time Remediation

Unlike many partner ecosystems that stop at API-level connections, HackerOne’s program prioritizes integrations that drive real-time remediation. The company has already rolled out partnerships with platforms like ServiceNow and Nucleus Security to support Unified Vulnerability Management (UVM), while also moving further left into development environments such as GitLab and GitHub.

“What sets the Technology Alliance Program apart is our focus on integrations that help customers remediate faster,” Addeo explained. “We’re also shifting further left into application development through partnerships with platforms like GitLab and GitHub, helping customers embed security earlier in the software development lifecycle.”

Evaluating Partnerships Based on Customer Value

Success in the program is not measured by partner volume, but by impact on customer workflows. HackerOne evaluates potential partners based on technical value, demand, and the ability to enhance security program management.

“For the Technology Alliance Program, success will be measured by customer use and feedback on the integrations we enable,” Addeo said. “Our evaluation criteria are centered around customer demand, technical value, and the potential to improve how security programs are managed within their organizations.”

Creating Service Opportunities for the Channel

The alliance program also opens new opportunities for MSPs, MSSPs, VARs, and systems integrators to build services around HackerOne’s AI-driven platform. This includes offerings in application security, remediation, and vulnerability management.

“When a partner examines their go-to-market strategy and solution stack, they can identify complementary and integrated offerings that help customers implement a defense-in-depth strategy,” said Addeo. “Focusing on the customer's business requirements and working backward through to our programs is my top priority for all our partner programs.
