DecisionPoint Acquires Macro Integration Services

DecisionPoint Systems, Inc., a mobility-first enterprise services and solutions company, today announced it has acquired privately-held Macro Integration Services, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, the deal is expected to add $10+ million in revenue and $1+ million in Adjusted EBITDA during the remainder of 2023, the companies said.

DecisionPoint, founded in 2013, is based in Irvine, California. The company has 94 employees listed on LinkedIn. DecisionPoint's areas of expertise include mobile field service software, merchandising software, warehouse management software, proof-of-delivery software, MDM, mobile work order software, GPS delivery tracking, BYOD, bar code data capture, mobile application development, mobility solutions for retail, and Mobile Device Deployment.

Macro Integration Services, founded in 2002, is based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The company has 48 employees listed on LinkedIn. Macro Integration Services' areas of expertise include Project Management, Point of Sales Systems, Installation Services, Custom Kiosks, Maintenance and Repair Services, Helpdesk, Staging, Configure, Implementation, and Consulting Services.

The acquisition allows DecisionPoint to add capabilities for digital signage and video systems as well as expand its offerings in point of sale, payments, mobility and self-service, the companies said. It also deepens the companies' penetration of traditional retail and hospitality verticals, adds food service vertical and scales grocery, quick-service restaurants and convenience stores. Finally, the acquisition will expand services into the southeastern region of the U.S. and adds significant warehousing capacity on the East Coast, the companies said.
