CACI Acquires Secure Communications Provider ID Technologies

CACI International Inc. has acquired Ashburn, Virginia-based ID Technologies, an enterprise IT, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and network modernization provider that offers security services to the U.S. federal government. The purchase price was $225 million.

In this deal, the combined companies will deliver Agile and software solutions to Department of Defense, intelligence and federal civilian agencies, CACI indicated.

ID Technologies has been a federal IT partner since 1988. The firm supports agencies across the defense, intelligence and civilian communities in the areas of national security, including with NSA-compliant Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) technology. Prior to the acquisition, ID Technologies was part of The Acacia Group portfolio.

CACI Acquires ID Technologies

The acquisition of ID Technologies expands CACI’s secure network modernization capabilities via the CSfC software, CACI said. Additionally, CACI will leverage ID Technologies’ capabilities in product and engineering solutions to deliver cloud, network and end-user initiatives to customers, the buyer indicated.

CACI, founded in 1962, partners with U.S. government agencies. The firm has approximately 22,000 employees.
