Auvik, Acronis team up to consolidate network and endpoint management

Auvik and Acronis announced an OEM partnership that will embed Auvik’s network monitoring and management capabilities directly into Acronis RMM. Expected to become available in January 2027, the integration will allow MSPs and IT departments to monitor networks, endpoints and servers through the Acronis Cyber Protect platform rather than managing separate tools and vendor relationships.

As IT teams are under growing pressure to reduce complexity in their technology stacks and tool sprawl in their networks, demand is soaring for more comprehensive capabilities from RMM providers. This concern is far from hypothetical – Auvik's 2026 IT Trends Report found that 36% of MSPs are now managing ten or more tools.

This partnership directly addresses that pain point by expanding the Acronis RMM platform with Auvik’s industry-leading network monitoring and management capabilities.

Acronis customers will gain the ability to monitor and manage critical network infrastructure alongside endpoints and servers without switching between tools or managing separate vendor relationships. For MSPs that don't currently offer network monitoring, the integration provides a low-friction path to adding that capability and onboarding new customers.

In a prepared statement, Auvik President Mark Ralls characterized tool sprawl as a drag on technician productivity and positioned the partnership as a way to simplify operations for MSPs.

The companies are positioning the partnership as a response to growing pressure on MSPs to consolidate their technology stacks and improve technician efficiency. Acronis partners will gain greater visibility into network infrastructure alongside existing endpoint management capabilities, while MSPs that do not currently provide network monitoring will have a path to add the service. Auvik and Acronis said the collaboration could help providers troubleshoot issues faster, reduce service disruptions, protect margins and expand managed service offerings.
