Aureon Acquires Clients from Northwest Communications Inc.

Aureon has announced the acquisition of Cloud and Managed IT clients from Northwest Communications Inc., a subsidiary of Northwest Communications Cooperative Association. This acquisition transfers commercial clients in northwest Iowa to Aureon, aiming to expand its client base in the Midwest. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Northwest Communications Inc., established in 1963 and based in Havelock, Iowa, is a subsidiary of the Northwest Communications Cooperative Association. The acquisition is part of Aureon’s strategy to expand its cloud and managed IT services client base, with Northwest Communications focusing on its telecommunications strengths. Clients transferred to Aureon will have access to an expanded suite of managed IT capabilities, including security, data backup, and server/workstation management services, the company said.
