Aureon Acquires Clients from Northwest Communications Inc.

Aureon has announced the acquisition of Cloud and Managed IT clients from Northwest Communications Inc., a subsidiary of Northwest Communications Cooperative Association. This acquisition transfers commercial clients in northwest Iowa to Aureon, aiming to expand its client base in the Midwest. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Aureon, established in 1985, is headquartered in West Des Moines, Iowa. The company has 241 employees listed on LinkedIn. Aureon specializes in IT solutions, connectivity services, consulting, and contact center solutions in the Midwest, including areas such as Des Moines, Kansas City, and Omaha, serving clients across the nation.

Northwest Communications Inc., established in 1963 and based in Havelock, Iowa, is a subsidiary of the Northwest Communications Cooperative Association. The company has ten employees listed on LinkedIn. Northwest Communications’ areas of expertise include Internet, Managed IT Services, Data Recovery, Firewall Solutions, dynamicTV, Television Services, Surveillance Systems, and Business Phone Systems.

The acquisition is part of Aureon’s strategy to expand its cloud and managed IT services client base, with Northwest Communications focusing on its telecommunications strengths. Clients transferred to Aureon will have access to an expanded suite of managed IT capabilities, including security, data backup, and server/workstation management services, the company said.
