Assured Data Protection has partnered with Telarus to bring Rubrik-based backup and disaster recovery (DR) solutions to a broader customer base through the Telarus advisor network. The partnership gives Telarus partners access to fully managed, immutable data protection and resiliency services, creating new recurring revenue opportunities while helping customers strengthen their cyber posture.
Expanding Reach Through the TSD Model
Vincent Gatti, Channel Chief of Americas at Assured Data Protection, told ChannelE2E that the partnership is a strategic move that directly supports the company’s North American growth plans. “Working with Telarus opens up a much wider customer base for Assured,” he explained. “Telarus is North America's largest privately held TSD, and its advisor network gives us direct access to mid-market and enterprise customers we wouldn't reach as quickly on our own. Their advisors already have those trusted relationships in place, plus they have access to Telarus' full stack of tools, financial services, and engineering support.”
According to Gatti, the Telarus partnership reflects a smarter path to scale. “Rather than building from the ground up with direct sales, we're able to plug into relationships that already exist. Telarus advisors can recommend our Rubrik-based managed data protection services to their clients, which helps us accelerate brand awareness and customer acquisition. It also aligns seamlessly with our plans to establish a larger presence in the Americas and scale through partners.”
Moving Beyond Backup Toward True Cyber Resiliency
Gatti noted that the partnership is about more than offering backup services. “We're approaching this as more than just a backup deal,” he said. “Backup and recovery are an integral part, but the real opportunity is helping partners guide their customers through the bigger picture of cyber resiliency.”
He added that Assured is taking a hands-on approach with advisors and MSPs. “Assured is stepping up to work directly with advisors on the front lines, and helping them navigate the complicated security landscape their customers are dealing with. By combining Telarus’ advisor enablement platform with Assured’s Rubrik-powered managed backup and DR services, the two companies are equipping advisors to engage customers on emerging challenges. “Advisors can actually consult with customers in a meaningful way,” Gatti said. “They can help them organize and protect their data, and respond to threats—especially the AI-driven issues such as agentic AI and automated ransomware that are becoming real problems.”

The partnership also opens new revenue streams and strengthens customer relationships for Telarus advisors. “This gives Telarus advisors a new recurring revenue stream through managed data protection and resiliency services,” Gatti said. “Advisors can bundle Assured's Rubrik services with their existing cloud and cybersecurity offerings, which lets them get deeper into their customers' environments.”
He added that the fully managed model allows advisors to stay focused on relationships and strategy. “They can scale their business without adding overhead or headcount,” Gatti noted. “It also helps with advisor retention and differentiation. Through this partnership, Telarus advisors can deliver higher-value recurring services.”
